Welcome to the Rescue-Services website. We are a VOLUNTARY group, who through a common interest in motor sport safety have come together to form several self financed specialist units for use at most types of 4 wheel motor sports events run throughout the UK. As we are all volunteers, the criteria we would look for in a person interested in rescue activities would loosely fit the profile of:

Having the ability to cope with a fairly steep learning curve, gaining experience with mechanical cutting plus medical stabilisation and extrication devices amongst many other specialist motor sport rescue skills. Is prepared to give up one whole weekend per month to training / crewing for experience (self financing) on a rescue unit at motor sports events varying from Autocross to Race, through Rally and Speed across the width and breadth of England, Wales and Scotland. Additionally, assist in providing rescue / safety support at airfield riding and driving days, equine and outdoor sports at various locations throughout the UK. Once assessed and gaining National full license accreditation, converting the same number of days (or greater if so desired) to unit crewing. Within our loosely associated group we currently have access to:

2 Motor Sports Association (MSA Ltd) licensed rescue units:
Cobalt Rescue [Landrover 130 Ambulance based]
Platinum Rescue [Transit 190 Ambulance based]

5 MSA licensed Stage Safety Units (SSU's) of
:
Flashpoint Response [Rangerover TACR fire engine based]
Sabre Response [Landrover 110 Ambulance based]
Earl Response (Landrover 110)
Longbow Response (Peugeot 206)
Chelmer Response (Vauxhall Frontera)

Plus 1 MSA licensed (heavy) Recovery unit:
Solent Recovery [Landrover 110 based] ( http://www.solentrecovery.com )

We can also field an MSA radio controller (Kestrel) for motor sport organisers who want a more complete motor sports safety package.

Our voluntary rescue participation goal is based on equality in an environment free from harassment, intimidation and unlawful discrimination, in which all have equal opportunity and encouragement to realise your full potential.

If you think this would be something you'd be interested in, then drop us an Email and we'll happily discuss it further.
