Cobalt Response

Cobalt Response (based on a 130 Landrover 300 Tdi), is an MSA licensed Stage Safety Unit (SSU) run in conjunction with Solent Recovery (see web link) thus allowing greater flexibility whenever the unit is operating as an SSU, making immediately available the widest possible range of equipment at an incident for stabilising & securing a casualty vehicle.

With base locations in Somerset, Buckinghamshire and visiting the North Cambridgeshire area regularly, most places in the country are in easy reach for any type of event.

The crew undergo regular training at a facility based in North Cambridgeshire under the direction and instruction of rescue-services trainers.

We are fortunate; this group have a wealth of experience in motor sport and in particular rescue & medical training. On regular occasions, rescue-services enlist the help and experience of State Registered Paramedic's and Fire and Rescue instructors to perform training tasks and maintain everyone at a top class level. Any of the units that run and train under the rescue-services banner have crew inter-changeability between units as everyone is trained to the same high level and standards, allowing the ability of working in harmony together.

All the crews have “other” permanent employment, and although we are all volunteers at an “Amateur” level, we do pride ourselves on being able to provide a professional service to events who have the foresight to utilise our skills.

For details of this unit and the others on the rescue-services inventory, please use the contact us page and we'll deal with your enquiry as quickly as we can.
