Rescue
Based on a Transit 190 Diesel engined chassis with a Wadham-Stringer body, the unit attends all types of motor sport events nationwide ranging from
historic sprint, through race events to all manner of club to national championships, providing essential rescue cover. Usually crewed with up to 5 persons plus a Paramedic / Doctor, Platinum Rescue carries a lot of the equipment found on county fire service rescue tenders which includes, fire fighting media, hydraulic cutting and spreading tools. Similarly, it also carries a comprehensive range of equipment to that of front line ambulances, tuned for the motor sport environment.

Ranges of communications systems are available including rally 81, race 169, hands free phone and a rescue-services inter-safety unit radio system to link it with our other Rescue Unit and Stage Safety Units.
Platinum Rescue is similarly designed to integrate with the seven current rescue-services Stage Safety Units (SSU's) of Cobalt Response, Flashpoint Response, Platinum Response, Sabre Response, Panther Response, Severn Response and Blackdown Response and carrying similar medical equipment along with the same crews, very handy for organisers looking for a comprehensive safety service. While Platinum Rescue has been set up as a rescue ambulance it must not be forgotten that the unit is not a business and that those involved are volunteers undertaking a sport they enjoy.
