This very capable unit is designed around a petrol V8 110 Landrover chassis with a high top conversion, thus allowing a casualty to be transported in the upright position if required. It has been set up as a Stage Safety Unit (SSU), complying and exceeding in many cases the minimum requirements of the governing body for UK motor sport, the MSA ltd. It carries a comprehensive range of equipment similar to a front line ambulance however, it has been tuned to suit motor sport needs and also has on board, fire fighting media's and associated stabilising equipment.
